The family of a man missing from Dumbarton since 2014 say they're still hopeful of finding him.

They're convinced Paul Harley, who'd now be 60, is pictured near Glasgow Central Station, in a photo being shared on social media.

The family spotted the photo yesterday and since matching it up to photos they have of Paul, believe it to be him.

It's understood the picture wasn't taken recently - but his son, Paul, who's since gone out to search again, thinks he's still out there.

The photo which the family found on social media and believe to be missing man Paul Harley.

Paul told Clyde 1: "My head has been absolutely fried since yesterday since I've seen the photo.

"The whole family really did think we were looking for a body.

"We've had K-9 recovery and rescue out over the last few years searching woods.

"There always was a bit of me, maybe 2% at most, that thought he was still out there.

"He did have mental health problems and before he left he said 'I don't want to be here, I'm no use to anyone'."

The family believe the man in the picture's features match up to Paul.

Paul says he's spoken to homeless charities since finding the photo, and they believe they've spoken with the man.

He said: "I've actually spoken to someone who thinks they've spoken to him and they work with the homeless.

"He's told me that this guy doesn't want to be found, which makes sense."

Glasgow City Mission says it's aware of the situation and is asking people not to approach the man if they see him.

They say the man, and Paul's family, are being supported.
