Search for Lanarkshire pensioner missing for two days
Police appeal for sightings of David Simpson
People in Lanark are being asked to help police as they search for a pensioner who's been missing since the weekend.
David Simpson, 77, was last seen in the St Leonard Street area of the town around 11.30am on Sunday, 8 September.
He is described as 5ft 8 with short white/grey hair and is of stocky build. It is unknown what he was wearing.
Officers say they've been told David likes to travel by bus across the the Lanarkshire area.
Inspector Peter Johnstone, Hamilton Police Station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for David’s welfare, and efforts are ongoing to trace him.
“If you think you’ve seen him or have any information on his whereabouts, please get in touch with us.”
