The daughter of a hillwalker missing in the Cairngorms has appealed to other walkers for help to trace him.
A full-scale search is under way for James Robertson, 61, who has not been seen since leaving his home in Cathcart, Glasgow, last Monday.
More than 80 volunteers from mountain rescue teams, along with specialist search officers, search and rescue dogs and a coastguard helicopter are involved.
Mr Robertson, described as a keen and experienced hillwalker, had been staying at Bob Scott's Bothy in Glen Lui during the week, according to Braemar Mountain Rescue team.
In posts on the team's Facebook page, his daughter Lynn Strachan said her family was distraught and desperate'' for news.
She said: We know that he has been out in the snow (potentially since Monday) with next to nothing on his person.
Our only hopes of finding him rely on people who have been/are in the Cairngorms area to come forward with any information.
The area is so vast and we have no information about what mountain he could be on. We need someone who has seen my dad to help Braemar and Aberdeen mountain rescue teams to narrow their search.
We are desperate for my dad to be found.''
A Police Scotland spokesman said: Mr Robertson's family is understandably concerned for him and just want to know he is safe and well.
Air and foot searches have been carried out and will continue to be carried out in an effort to locate Mr Robertson.''
Braemar Mountain Rescue team said: If anyone has been out walking in the southern Cairngorms, particularly hills accessible from the bothy, and think they may have met or seen this lone walker please get in touch with us.''
Mr Robertson is described as being 5ft 10in and of medium build with short grey hair and glasses. He is believed to be carrying a large rucksack.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
