Appeals for sightings of missing Glasgow pensioner

There's an urgent appeal to help find a pensioner who's been missing in Glasgow for nearly 24 hours now.

75 year old Alexander Marshall left the west end on Wednesday morning and was last spotted at a railway station in the city centre at lunchtime.

Alexander was reported missing from the Novar Drive area city around 9.40am on 27th November.

Enquiries since have established he was last seen on CCTV at Argyle Street Station at approximately 12.25pm the same day.

He is described as around 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build, with short grey/white hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, brown gilet, blue jacket, blue jeans, brown shoes and a black hat.

Sergeant Aimee Hunter said: “We are extremely concerned for Alexander’s wellbeing, Searches and enquiries are ongoing to trace him as soon as possible to ensure that he is safe and well.

“We urge anyone who has seen Alexander or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact 101 quoting reference number 1101 of 27 November.”
