Men back in court over Euan Johnston murder

Two men have made their second court appearance charged with the alleged murder of Euan ‘EJ’ Johnston.

32 year-old Anthony Ruthven and 33-year-old David Scott are said to have shot Mr Johnston at Shields Road in Glasgow’s south side last November 15th.

They appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court for a full committal hearing, where they again made no plea.

Prosecutors claim Ruthven and Scott “did present a firearm at him and did shoot him repeatedly in the head with said firearm”.

They were remanded in custody by sheriff Shona Gilroy.
