Man And Woman Die After Being Knocked Down In Glasgow

A man and woman have died after being knocked down in separate crashes on the city's roads on Saturday.

A 64 year-old woman's died after being hit by a volvo while crossing Greystone Avenue in Rutherglen just after 4pm.

The 46 year-old driver was uninjured.

That's as a 77 year-old man has died following a road crash in Shettleston, also on Saturday.

Around 4.30pm a silver Kia car was travelling eastbound when at the same time the 77 year-old man was attempting to cross the road.

He died at the scene but the 56 year-old man driving the Kia car was uninjured.
