Man who raped 12-year-old boy jailed for nine years
The court heard he may be deported when he is released.
A man who dragged a 12-year-old school boy into a Glasgow close and raped him has been jailed for nine years.
Yones Beyranvand, 37, was convicted of assaulting and sexually abusing the boy on August 18, 2017.
The High Court in Glasgow heard that Beyranvard compelled the boy to go with him, and forced him to his knees before raping him.
When police searched Beyranvand's home in Rona Street, Glasgow, they found an extreme pornographic image of bestiality.
He was convicted of having this in his possession.
Detectives also found child porn on his computer.
Beyranvard denied all the charges against him.
Judge Johanna Johnston QC ordered Beyranvand to be monitored in the community for two years after his release from prison, although the court heard he may be deported.
