Man in wheelchair dies after he was hit by a lorry in Greenock

A wheelchair user has died after he was hit by a lorry.
41-year-old William McIntyre, known as Billy, was knocked down by the HGV as he crossed Dalrymple Street in Greenock, Inverclyde, at around 11.45am on Wednesday.
He was treated at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but died on Thursday.
The 52-year-old lorry driver was left shaken but was not injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
