Man treated in hospital following city centre assault
A man has been treated in hospital for serious head and facial injuries after an attack in Glasgow City Centre in the early hours of this morning.

Police say the 23 year-old was followed by two men from Gordon Street to Hope Street following an altercation around 00.45.
The first suspect is white, with a slim build and short dark hair. He was wearing a dark hooded anorak, dark trousers and dark trainers.
The second suspect is white, with a heavy build. He was wearing a dark jacket, with the hood up, dark jogging trousers and light coloured trainers.
Officers are gathering CCTV footage from around this area for any additional detail which could assist in their enquiries.
Detective Constable Kieron Frost said:
“A young man has been assaulted and it’s imperative we trace the two men responsible. I am appealing to anyone who may have been in Gordon Street or Hope Street around the time of the incident to contact us with any information.
"Perhaps you witnessed the initial altercation, or did you see the suspects as they ran off from Hope Street. Any small piece of information could help us piece together what has happened and why.”
