A man has been treated in hospital in Glasgow for a head injury after he was assaulted by three men.
A man has been treated in hospital in Glasgow for a head injury after he was assaulted by three men.
The 28 year-old was attacked at the entrance of Garnethill Park in Hill Street at around 10 o'clock on Tuesday night.
It is believed the group fled in a vehicle after a woman scared them off.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
Officers are checking CCTV footage from in and around the area for any clues as to why this man was attacked. Police continue to carry out door-to-door enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Donna McDougall said:
“We are interested in speaking to anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident. In particular, we would like to hear from the woman who was in the area around the time of the attack. We believe her scream led to the attackers running off and she may be able to provide us with vital information which could assist our enquiries.”
