Man taken to hospital following Baillieston disturbance

A 27 year-old man has been taken to hospital following a disturbance in Baillieston.

Police were called to South Scott Street around 5.20am this morning. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The road is closed in both directions inquiries are on-going

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland officers are in attendance at a property on South Scott Street following reports of a disturbance at 5.20am this morning.

"A 27 -year-old man has been taken to Glasgow Royal Hospital.

"His injuries are not thought to be life threatening. Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances."
