Man sustains serious facial injuries during attack in Alexandria

A 37-year-old man has sustained serious facial injuries during an assault in the Bonhill area of Alexandria.

The incident happened between 5pm and 8pm last night at a property in the Ladyton Estate, Stirling Road.

He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment and has now been released.

Detective Thomas O’Donnell, of Clydebank CID, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who knows what happened or saw anything in the area around the time of this assault.

“In particular we are keen to speak to three men who were in the property at the time who may be able to help us with our enquiries.”
