Man suffers facial injury during attack in Glasgow

The victim was walking Woodville Street in the direction of the subway station at Copeland Road when he was assaulted by two men.

A man has suffered a facial injury after he was attacked in Glasgow yesterday afternoon.

The 48-year-old was assaulted by two men around 4pm on Woodville Street in the city.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Sergeant Ainsley Clark said :

''The victim was walking Woodville Street in the direction of the subway station at Copeland Road when he was approached by the two men.

One of the men is described as being approximately five foot six inches tall, of slim build, wearing a dark coloured cagoule style jacket with the hood up, a scarf covering his face and dark trousers.

The second man is described as being five foot eight inches tall, of slim build, wearing a dark cagoule style jacket with hood up and dark trousers.

I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch with Police Scotland on 101, quoting 2358 of 31 January, 2020 speak to any police officers.''
