Man to stand trial accused of raping 4 women and a teenage girl in Renfrewshire
A man is to stand trial charged with raping four women and a teenage girl.
Mark O'Donnell (28) today faced the accusations at the High Court in Glasgow.
The crimes are said to have occurred between March 2009 and December 2018.
They allegedly took place at addresses in Johnstone, Elderslie and Busby, Renfrewshire.
Two of the women are said to have been asleep at the time. O'Donnell faces a separate charge of sexually assaulting one of them.
The youngest of the alleged victims is said to have been 15.
O'Donnell also faces charges of having unlawful sex as well as lewd and libidinous behaviour in connection with the girl.
His advocate Jennifer Bain today pleaded not guilty on his behalf during a short hearing.
Lord Mulholland set a trial due to begin in June next year.
The case could last six days.
Bail for O'Donnell, also of Johnstone, was continued meantime.
