Man in serious condition following Dennistoun stabbing

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in the back and leg with a 'large knife' in the East End of Glasgow in the early hours of this morning.

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in the back and leg with a 'large knife' in the East End of Glasgow in the early hours of this morning.

The 24 year-old was attacked on Sword Street in Dennistoun at around 1.25am.

Police say two people were involved are they are appealing for information.

Detective Constable Eilidh Marshall said:

"I'm appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the assault to get in touch. If you have any information about the identity of the two men responsible I would urge you to contact me at Shettleston Police Office."
