Man stabbed in Drumchapel remains in 'serious condition'

A 30-year-old man’s in a serious condition after being stabbed in Drumchapel.

Police were called to a disturbance in Carolside Drive around 10.30am this morning and the man was taken to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Another man’s also being treated for minor injuries.

A Police spokeswoman told Clyde News: “Around 1030 hours on Wed 3 May 2017, police were called to a report of a disturbance in which a 30 year old man had been stabbed in Carolside Dr, Drumchapel, Glasgow. On arrival the man was found to be seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to the QEUH where he is undergoing treatment. Medical staff describe his condition serious.

“Enquiries into the incident are continuing.

“Any information can be passed to Drumchapel CID via 101 quoting incident number 0890/3/5 or in confidence to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
