Man shot on Glasgow street in targeted attack
Police say they have a positive line of inquiry
A MAN’S in hospital after being shot on a Glasgow street last night.
The 33-year-old was wounded in what police say was a targeted attack on Garlieston Street in Barlarnark just before half past nine last night.
The victim's being treated at the city's Royal Infirmary - officers say they have a positive line of inquiry and there is a heavy police presence in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.25pm on Saturday, 25 September, police attended a report of man injured in Garlieston Road, Glasgow.
“The 33-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.
“This was a targeted attack and there will be an increased police presence in the area throughout the investigation.”
