86-year-old man shaken after being robbed and threatened in his own home
Three men broke into the property in Darnley and stole jewellery, leaving the man shaken.
A man in his 80s was threatened and robbed in his home during a "despicable" attack on Sunday.
The 86-year-old was in his Darnley property at 4.25pm when three men broke in, stealing jewellery and leaving him shaken, although uninjured.
Police Scotland detectives are now appealing for information to the incident on Waukglen Drive, from which the three suspects drove-off from in a white car.
The three suspects are described as white and aged between 20-30 years. One was wearing a light blue shirt with cream coloured trousers. The second man was wearing a white hooded top and dark coloured trousers. The third man was dressed in dark-coloured clothing.
Detective Constable Kris Elliott said: “Targeting an 86 year-old man and making him feel vulnerable in his own home is despicable.
“Our enquiries are continuing to identify and trace the three men involved and anyone with any information that will assist our investigation should contact the Community Investigation Unit at Govan through 101 quoting reference 2532 of 23 May.
