Man seriously injured in Glasgow city centre attack
The incident happened in the early hours of this morning on Gordon Street
A man has been left in a serious condition in hospital after an assault in Glasgow city centre.
The attack happened just after half three this morning on Gordon Street.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.35am on Friday, 9 June, police were called to a report of a man found injured in Gordon Street, Glasgow.
“He was taken by Ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where hospital staff describe his condition as serious.
“Detectives are currently carrying out enquiries in the area to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this serious assault and anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference number 0368. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
