Man seriously injured in Larkhall

A man has been seriously injured in Larkhall.

Police were called to the Glen Avenue area around 10:30pm on Friday.

The 40-year-old is still being treated in hospital.

Detective Sergeant Charles Limond, from Cambuslang CID, said: “Around 10.30pm on Friday, 20 August, emergency services were called to the Glen Avenue area of Larkhall following a report of a man with serious injuries.

“The 40-year-old man was taken to the University Hospital Wishaw, where he currently remains. Officers are carrying out an investigation in the area and are following a positive line of enquiry.”
