Man seriously injured in Glasgow stabbing.
Police say they're looking for two men and two women in connection with the attack near Jamaica Street.
Detectives are appealing for information after a 28-year-old man was seriously assaulted in Glasgow City Centre on Friday, 1 October.
Around 9.35pm, officers were called to a report of a man injured on Argyle Street after being seriously assaulted nearby in Jamaica Street.
Police and Ambulance attended and the 28-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for stab wounds. Hospital staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
Officers are working to trace the two men and two women responsible.
One of the men was wearing a grey hooded top and dark-coloured trousers, the other was wearing a grey jacket, white t-shirt and jeans. One of the women had long dark-coloured hair that was shaved at the sides and she was wearing pink shorts with a black top or jacket. The other woman was wearing a white jacket, black trousers and white trainers. She was carrying a white plastic bag.
Detective Constable Stuart Mills from City Centre Police Station said: “Jamaica Street was very busy at the time this man was attacked and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this serious assault, or who recognises the description of the four people responsible to contact us.
“Anyone with information should contact 101 with reference 3602 of 1 October. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
