Man seriously injured in fight near west end of Glasgow
Police were called to Thornwood Place at 7.20pm on Wednesday.
Police Scotland is appealing for information after a 30 year-old man sustained serious injuries during a disturbance in Glasgow last night.
Around 7.20pm on Wednesday 25 July 2018, police were made aware of a disturbance involving a large group of people on Thornwood Place, Glasgow.
Emergency services attended and a 30 year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries to his arm.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Palmer, Drumchapel CID, said: “Officers are still in the early stages of this enquiry, and are trying to establish exactly what happened during this incident which has resulted in a man being left with serious injuries.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the disturbance taking place, or who may have seen a large group of people in the area last night.
“We urge anyone with any information to come forward and contact us.”
