Man seriously assaulted by group of teenagers in Glasgow city centre

The incident happened on Adams Court Lane at around 8.10pm on Tuesday

Police have appealed for witnesses after a 21-year-old man was seriously assaulted in the city centre yesterday evening.

The incident happened within the Q car park, on Adams Court Lane, at around 8.10pm.

A large group of male and female teenagers, all around 16-years-old, are thought to have been involved in the incident.

The 21-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Detective Constable Stuart Mills from Stewart Street Police Station said: “Multiple members of the public were present at the time of the incident, and may have witnessed the assault.

“I would ask those who haven’t spoken with officers, to get in touch as soon as possible.

“Anyone with any information, is asked to contact 101, quoting incident 3497 of 1 June 2022, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
