Man knocked down in a 'targeted' attack in Glasgow
A 22-year-old man was run down on Monday evening
Police are still at the scene in the north of Glasgow where cars were used as a weapon to run down a man.
Police were called to a report of a "disturbance" involving three vehicles and a male pedestrian on Ashgill Road, Glasgow at around 6.55pm on Monday.
Officers said the 22-year-old male pedestrian who was struck by a car was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Police Scotland said that from investigations so far, they believe it to be a "targeted incident" and said that there is no wider threat to the public.
Extensive investigations are underway to establish the circumstances and a police presence will remain in the area, the force said.
