A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a 40-year-old in Airdrie.
A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a 40-year-old in Airdrie.
Gordon Adam McCrone, 45, is accused of killing Malcolm McLaren, who was found dead at his home in Clark Street in the North Lanarkshire town on September 29.
McCrone, of Airdrie, appeared at the town's sheriff court on Monday.
He made no plea or declaration in relation to the murder charge. He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
McCrone is expected to appear in court again next week.
