Paisley man denies stabbing another man in the eye

A man has appeared in the dock at the High Court in Glasgow accused of stabbing a 28-year-old man in the eye. Jamie Anderson, 23, denied assaulting Colin Dickinson by stabbing him in the eye with a knife or similar causing him severe injury, permanent impairment, permanent disfigurement and endangering his life on August 14, 2018 in Paisley.

Anderson also denies behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and brandishing a bottle on August 14 in Netherhill Road, Paisley.

Judge Lady Stacey set a trial for April next year.
