Man in hospital after Range Rover driven at him in Hamilton
Around 11:20 last night he was walking along Burnhouse Crescent when he was knocked over.
A 38 year old man is in hospital being treated for serious leg injuries after a silver Range Rover was deliberately driven at him in Hamilton.
Around 11:20 last night he was walking along Burnhouse Crescent when he was knocked over.
It then sped off along Neilsland Road.
Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to Hairmyres Hospital for treatment to serious leg injuries. Medical staff describe his condition as stable.
Detective Sergeant Ronnie Douglas from Cambuslang CID said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Burnhouse Crescent or Neilsland Road last night and either witnessed the incident, or noticed a silver Range Rover driving erratically, to please get in touch.
“I would also urge any motorists with dashcams who were in the vicinity to check their footage in case they have captured anything which could be of significance."
