57-year old man in serious condition after being knocked down by a motorbike
Officers are appealing for information following a serious road crash on Paisley Road West near to Mosspark Boulevard, Glasgow on Tuesday 28 August 2018. Around 7pm, a 57-year old man was crossing Paisley Road West when he was hit by a motorcycle.
Emergency services attended and the 57-year old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable. The motorcyclist was uninjured however he has been left badly shaken by the incident.
An investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and police are appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to contact them.
Officers are also appealing to motorists with dash cams to check their footage as it may have details which could assist in the investigation.
