Man Killed In Stirling Motorcyle Crash Named

A motorcyclist who died after crashing into a road sign has been named by police.

Ross McArthur, 22, suffered serious injuries in the collision on Muirton Road at the Springkerse retail park in Stirling at around 10.30pm on Monday.

Mr McArthur, from Whins of Milton, was taken to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow where he later died.

Police said the Kawasaki motorcycle collided with a fixed road sign on a roundabout.

The road was closed for about six hours while officers investigated.

Police said investigations into the incident are under way and appealed for information.
