46-year-old killed in Supermarket crash

A 46-year-old man has died after being allegedly struck by a car at a Glasgow supermarket.

The collision's thought to have happened in the Cardonald Morrisons car park - just off Paisley Road West - at around 11.35pm last night.

A 17-year-old boy's been arrested in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:

“We were made aware of a collision involving a 46-year-old male pedestrian who was struck by a car within a supermarket car park off Paisley Road West in Glasgow shortly after 11.35pm on Friday, 1 October.

“The man was pronounced dead at the scene."

“A 17-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
