A 20-year-old man has been taken to hospital with a stab wound following a serious assault in the south side of Glasgow.

The incident happened at around 1.05pm on Thursday when the man was walking along Old Rutherglen Road, near to Oregon Street, when he was approached by another man who attacked him.
He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment for a stab wound and is said to be in a stable condition.
Police are looking to identify the male suspect described as white, in his mid 20s, 5ft 6ins, of stocky build and with shaved hair.
He was wearing a white top with the word "Nike" in black on the chest.
Detective Sergeant Martin Smith said: "From our CCTV enquiries so far we can see that the surrounding area was busy with members of the public at the time of the incident.
"Somebody must have seen something and I would urge anyone who witnessed what happened to get in touch."
