Man injured in car crash in Glasgow's Broomielaw

A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.

The man was struck in Broomielaw, near the River Clyde, at around 4.30pm.

Police Scotland said he was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. His condition is not yet known.

Traffic management teams in the city said Broomielaw was reduced to one lane westbound between Oswald St and Robertson Street following the crash. Drivers were advised to expect delays.
