Man taken to hospital after serious assault outside pub

A man's been hospitalised following a serious assault outside a pub in Glasgow.
Police were called to Paisley Road, near Govan Road at 11.45pm on Saturday after reports of the attack.
It is understood the incident took place outside the Union Bar.
The 50-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH), where he was treated for a head injury.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Around 11.45pm on October 26, police were called to a report of a man having been seriously assaulted on Paisley Road, near to Govan Road, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and a 50-year-old man was taken to the QEUH to be treated for a head injury.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information should contact police via 101, quoting incident number 4587 of Saturday 26 October 2019."
