A man is being treated in hospital after a stabbing in Cumbernauld.
He was attacked at a house on Grieve Road around 1.40am on Friday morning.
Emergency services took him to the University Hospital Monklands in Airdrie for treatment - his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are encouraging members of the public to come forward with information.
A force spokesman said: “Police were called around 1.41am today to a report of a stabbing in Grieve Road, Cumbernauld.
“Emergency services attended the scene and a man was taken by ambulance to Monklands hospital.
