Man in 'critical condition' after huge fight in Glasgow

Four men have been charged in connection and are due to appear in court on Monday.

A 20 year old man's in a “critical but stable” condition at the city’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after a large fight in Glasgow.

Two other men were also hurt following the disturbance in Hutton Drive around 6pm on Saturday.

Four men have been charged in connection and are due to appear in court on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.10pm on Saturday, 25 April, 2020, police attended a report of a large scale disturbance with several people injured on Hutton Drive, Govan.

“Three men aged 20, 26 and 28 years were found injured and were taken to the QEUH. The 20-year-old man remains in hospital and hospital staff describe his condition as critical but stable.

“Four men aged 20, 26, 28 and 47 years have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and will be appearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 27 April, 2020.

“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
