A man has been rushed to hospital after an assault on Argyle Street in Glasgow this afternoon.
Police were called there at around 12.30pm after reports of an assault taking place.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers were called to a premises on Argyle Street in Glasgow at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, 5 May following an assault.
"One man has been taken to hospital and officers remain at the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing and there is no wider threat to the public."
