Man found with gunshot wounds in Kilmarnock
He was found on Ayr Road on Monday 11 March.
An investigation is underway in Kilmarnock after a man was found with gunshot wounds.
Police were called to Ayr Road just on the outskirts of the town around 1.50pm on Monday 11 March.
The 46 year-old was rushed to Crosshouse Hospital where he was treated for injuries caused by a firearm. He has since been released.
A statement from Police Scotland says, "Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact Kilmarnock CID via 101, quoting incident number 1898 of Monday 11 March 2019."
