A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in a Glasgow flat this morning.

A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in a Glasgow flat this morning.

The 30-year-old was found seriously injured in a property on Castlemilk Drive and was taken to Hairmyres Hospital.

Staff have described his condition as life-threatening

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1135 hrs on Friday 28 July 2017, a 30-year-old man was discovered seriously injured within a flat in Castlemilk Drive, Glasgow.

“He was taken by ambulance to Hairmyres hospital where he is currently being treated for a serious stab wound. Hospital staff describe his condition as life threatening.

“Police are following a definite line of enquiry.”
