Man dies on busy city centre street

A man’s died in Glasgow city centre during rush hour this morning. Emergency services were called to a report of concern for a 69 year old St Vincent Street at twenty to eight. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

St Vincent Street between Wellington Street and West Campbell Street was closed to all traffic but has now reopened.

Police said there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances around the man’s death.
