One man dies following fatal crash on M8
Five others are injured after the crash, which closed the road for six hours.

A man has died following a car crash on the M8 motorway near to Shotts on Saturday.
At around 3.30pm yesterday, a 25-year-old man was driving a blue Audi A4 car westbound when the car collided with the central crash barrier and crossed the carriageway between junction 5 and 6 near to Kirk of Shotts.
It then collided with a Subaru Impreza car that was travelling on the eastbound carriageway.
The 25-year old driver and a 21-year old male passenger of the Audi motor car were slightly injured.
A 44-year-old male passenger in the same car died at the scene.
The 27- year-old male driver of the Subaru car was treated for slight injuries, but his two female passengers aged 29 and 26 sustained serious injuries and are currently being treated within Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
Their conditions are described as serious but stable.
The road was closed until 9.30pm last night while emergency services attended to the incident.
