Man dies after getting into trouble at Ayrshire loch

A man has died after getting into difficulty in Loch Doon.
Emergency crews were called to the beauty spot in Dalmellington, East Ayrshire, around 1:15pm yesterday, following reports of two men in trouble.
The 24-year-old passed away at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received reports of two men in difficulty in the water at Loch Doon, Dalmellington, around 1.15pm on Sunday, 27 March, 2022.
"One man died at the scene. The other man was checked over by paramedics but did not require further medical treatment.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal but there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances."
