Man dies in West Kilbride house fire
Emergency services rushed to Kirkton Avenue on Wednesday night
A man has died following a fire at a house in an Ayrshire village.
Fire crews were called to the scene in Kirkton Avenue in West Kilbride at around 8.45pm on Wednesday.
The body of the 68-year-old man was found inside the property.
An investigation into the cause of the fire will take place however police said there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
