Man dies after being found injured in East Kilbride street
The 24 year old was discovered on Saturday morning
A man’s died after being he was found lying injured in an East Kilbride street.
The 24 year-old was discovered in the town’s Lindsayfield area around 2.20am on Saturday 4th March.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said:
"Emergency services attended however he died a short time later.
"A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death and police are treating the death as unexplained meantime.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
An investigation’s been launched and it’s understood the area has been cordoned off while detectives piece together what happened.
