Man dies in forklift accident in East Kilbride

A man has died after the forklift truck he was driving hit a kerb and toppled over. The incident happened on Glenburn Road in East Kilbride at around 10.30am. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: A forklift truck was travelling north on Glenburn Road near Castleglen Road when it appears to have struck the kerb, causing it to topple over.The male occupant of the truck died at the scene. Emergency services are in attendance and inquiries are continuing.''
