Man dies following 'unexplained' incident on Glasgow West End street
Byres Road remains closed at the junction with Dumbarton Road
A man has died following an incident in Glasgow's West End this morning.
Police were made aware of concern for a person on Byres Road just after 6.50am on Saturday, 8th June.
Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say the death his being treated as unexplained.
Enquiries are ongoing and the road is currently closed near the junction with Dumbarton Road.
Police say the area should be avoided and drivers should use alternative routes.
