Man dies after found with 'serious' injuries on rural Glasgow road

A man has died after being found with serious injuries on a rural Glasgow road.
Police were called out to Glasgow Road, Blanefield, on Monday around 11.55pm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers are now trying to figure how the man sustained his injuries.
Police appeal
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.55pm on Monday, 31 July, police were called to a report of a man found seriously injured on Glasgow Road, Blanefield.
“Officers attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing in and around the area to establish the circumstances surrounding his death and how he came about his injuries.
"Anyone with information that may assist our investigation should contact 101 quoting reference 4407 of 31 July.”
