A man has died after an accident at a pipe welding factory on the Kelvin Industrial Estate in East Kilbride.

A man has died after an accident at a pipe welding factory on the Kelvin Industrial Estate in East Kilbride.
The 52-year-old was taken to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after the incident on Thursday morning but later died.
Police Scotland says it is investigating along with the Health and Safety Executive.
Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a man being injured at about 11:10am on Thursday 7 September at the Kelvin Industrial Estate.
"A joint investigation between the police and Health and Safety Executive is under way and inquiries are ongoing."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We dispatched two ambulances, our special operations response team and the trauma team.
"One male patient was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
