Man in custody in connection with death of 27-year-old

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of Joseph McMenemy.

The 27-year-old was found injured at his home in Donaldson Street, Hamilton, on Tuesday.

The emergency services attended at around 11.55pm and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with his death, Police Scotland said on Saturday.

The force said in a statement:

A 23-year-old man has been arrested and is presently detained in police custody in connection with the incident.A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.''
