Man in court over Pollok murder

A man has appeared in court accused of murdering Omar Sadiq in Glasgow.
27 year-old Hashim Uddin is accused of assaulting and murdering Mr Sadiq in Glasgow’s Pollok on September 15 this year.
The 32-year-old man was found seriously injured on Boydstone Road.
He was later taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died a shortly after.
Uddin made no plea during a private hearing today/yesterday (Fri) at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He will appear again at the same court within the next few days.
Uddin was remanded in custody meantime by Sheriff Joseph Platt pending further examination.
