Man in court charged with attacking pensioner in Glasgow
The 77-year old was assaulted in Bath Street on Friday
A man has appeared in court charged with assaulting a pensioner.
Brian Warden is accused of the attack on the 77 year-old on March 23 at Bath Street in Glasgow city centre.
The 36-year-old from Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire, appeared in private yesterday (Mon) at the city's sheriff court charged with assault to severe injury and danger of life.
He also faces another separate charge of assault.
Warden made no plea and was granted bail.
He is expected to return to court at a later date.
